Covenant Living commissioned THW Design to reposition and expand their senior living retirement community, located near Hartford, CT. The expansion would include a new Town Center and 54 new apartments.
The Town Center includes multiple dining venues, from coffee and a quick bite to candle-lit formal dining. There is a new state-of-the-art fitness center with floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the natural pond. The many lounge areas off the foyer-entrance allow for residents to gather and socialize beside the cozy stone fire paces. And a brand-new art center lets residents to express their creativity.
The grand courtyard bridges the existing campus with the Town Hall Expansion and provides social confluence for the community. It unites both phases and provides residents spaces for wellness and activities.
